Juicy, tangy, and perfectly crunchy! This fried chicken recipe uses a simple Italian dressing marinade and Louisiana Fish Fry chicken fry for that golden, crispy coating we all love.

Ingredients (serves 4–6)

  • 2–3 lbs chicken pieces (drums, thighs, or breasts)

  • 1 ½ cups Italian dressing (bottled works perfectly)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups Louisiana Fish Fry Chicken Fry Mix

  • Oil for frying (peanut, canola, or vegetable)

Instructions
1️⃣ Place chicken in a large bowl or zip bag. Pour Italian dressing over chicken, making sure pieces are coated. Marinate at least 2 hours (overnight = maximum flavor).
2️⃣ Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F.
3️⃣ In one bowl, whisk eggs. In another, pour Louisiana Fish Fry Chicken Fry mix.
4️⃣ Remove chicken from marinade (shake off excess), dip in egg, then dredge in chicken fry mix—press firmly so it sticks.
5️⃣ Fry chicken in batches, about 10–12 minutes per piece (depending on size), until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temp).
