A quick and flavorful one-pan meal made with crawfish tails, Italian sausage, buttery rice, and French onion soup baked right into the dish. Easy, comforting, and packed with Louisiana-inspired flavor!

- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 lb crawfish tails
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 4 cups broth
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 stick butter, sliced
- Optional: chopped onion
- Optional: chopped bell pepper
- Optional: salt-free seasoning blend

1. Prep the meat
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage until fully cooked. If using onion and bell pepper, sautรฉ them with the sausage until softened.
2. Build the dish
Add uncooked rice to a baking dish. Pour in broth and French onion soup, then stir in crawfish tails and cooked sausage mixture.
If desired, add a little salt-free seasoning blend for extra flavor.
3. Add butter
Place sliced butter evenly across the top of the rice mixture.
4. Bake
Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375ยฐF for about 45โ50 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
5. Fluff & serve
Remove from the oven, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve warm.
