Pasta

  • 1 lb bowtie pasta, cooked al dente

Protein

  • 1 lb steak, cut into strips
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

Vegetables

  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2–3 bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, and green for the classic Rasta colors)

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 2–3 tbsp jerk seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups parmesan cheese, grated

Optional:

  • Garlic, minced
  • Parsley for garnish
  • Green onions

👩🏽🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente.

Drain and set aside.


2️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.

Add:

  • Onion
  • Bell peppers

Cook until softened and fragrant.


3️⃣ Cook the Steak

Add steak strips to the skillet and season lightly with jerk seasoning.

Cook until browned and nearly cooked through.


4️⃣ Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, pour in the heavy whipping cream.

Stir in:

  • Jerk seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese

Whisk until smooth and creamy.


5️⃣ Add the Shrimp

Add shrimp to the sauce and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink.


6️⃣ Combine Everything

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated.

Transfer to an oven-safe baking dish.


7️⃣ Bake

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.


8️⃣ Serve

Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve warm.
